In Celebration

Asking friends and family to make a donation to the St Thomas’ Lupus Trust in lieu of a birthday, wedding, anniversary, new baby, Christmas gift or other special event is a fantastic way of supporting our work.

We will send a thank you letter to all donors and can let you know the names of those who have donated if you request this.

If you would like to donate to the St Thomas’ Lupus Trust to mark a special occasion, you can:

  1. Collect any donations and forward them to us by cheque made out to 'St Thomas Lupus Trust'. Address: St Thomas' Lupus Trust, Ground Floor, Conybeare House, Great Maze Pond, Guys Hospital, London SE1 9RT

  2. Ask friends and family to send donations directly, by cheque or postal order made out to ‘St. Thomas’ Lupus Trust’.

  3. Give securely using a credit or debit card via the 'give now' button on this website. You will have an opportunity during the transaction to add a message as to why you are donating.

  4. If you don’t want to receive gifts but would like people to buy you a ‘virtual gift’ in lieu of your celebration gift, they can now do that via our shop. So ask them to go there and purchase whatever they like from our ‘donate for lab equipment’ area. They can buy anything from a test tube to a larger piece of research item (p&p not charged on these items), you don’t get the gift but our lupus researchers do – and very happy they will be to receive items! If they’re purchasing the item as a gift to mark a Birthday etc for someone then can also send a free e-card to tell you.

  5. If you would like your friends to buy a virtual gift, please copy this link http://www.lupus.org.uk/shop/donate-lab and email it to a friend or share it on Twitter / Facebook / Google+ / Pinterest (see the 'share this' links on the right-hand side!)

Please mention that your donation is in lieu of a gift, the occasion and the name of the person in whose name you are making the gift, we would be very pleased to let them know of your donation.
