October is Lupus Awareness month and below are a few of the events going on during the month. This page will be updated so do keep checking back here.

During the month there will be auctions on eBay to raise funds for our vital lupus research. They will include: Butterfly brooches, limited Lupus cartoon print by Rick Brookes, Lucy in Sky t-shirt, a very special limited print from Patron Julian Lennon and a large one off signed framed print by Cynthia Lennon. 6th October | Celebrity Lupus Awareness event. Central Hall, St Thomas Hospital London from noon to 2pm. Lots of information about lupus and patients to talk to. If you're a fan of butterflies we will have butterfly themed jewellery and much more to purchase. Also our wristbands, pins and Beatles notelets will be on sale.

Making an appearance will be our fabulous Patron Kelle Bryan, Ricky Norwood who was recently runner up on Celebrity Big Brother and well known for playing Fatboy on Eastenders and Dr Sara Kayat who features on Channel 5 programme GP's behind closed doors and This morning, who knows all about lupus after working at the Louise Coote Lupus Unit!. So come along and meet us all.

20th October| A fantastic live auction on Facebook with a guitar string bracelet made from guitar strings donated to us by Paul McCartney. This is an opportunity to own a one off custom made bracelet and is extremely unlikely to ever be repeated again. ‘Balstock’ Hertfordshire’s biggest free music festival supports
the St Thomas Lupus Trust.


This year is Balstock's 10th Anniversary, with over 200 acts on 13 stages over 3 days. On the weekend of the 11th,12th & 13th of September, in Baldock, Hertfordshire and it's FREE! !

Artists include:  Joanovarc, Owen Stephen, Billy Skins 5th, Indi & the Vegas and all the way from Holland
Ritn Ditn.

With dedicated folk, metal, DJ and acoustic stages there's something for everyone's musical tastes. Come and join us for a weekend of fantastic music and atmosphere whilst raising money for the vitally important lupus research funded by the St Thomas' Lupus Trust.

We’d like to thank all the organisers, helpers, musicians and supporters of the festival for choosing the St Thomas Lupus Trust as their charity this year, it’s really appreciated.

Patron Julian Lennon and the St Thomas Lupus Trust hope that everyone has a fantastic time – and that you all dig deep for much needed donations for our charity.

Sponsor a Hole
We offer the wiser corporate advertiser the chance to sponsor a hole for the day. For the minimum sum of £50 (although we would love you to donate more), we will design and erect a board with your corporate name on it, to be seen by everyone walking the course.
The 9th and 18th Holes will go to the highest bidder.

After eighteen months of fundraising and training (more fundraising than training if I’m honest!), the day had finally arrived to take on the challenge of trekking across the Grand Canyon.  After meeting our group in the airport we flew to Phoenix where we spent one night before a small acclimatisation trek the next day. After about two minutes of walking in the heat, the thought actually entered my mind that I wasn’t sure if I could do this challenge? It was so hot and I instantly became thirsty. As soon as we stopped, I had to find some shade! We took regular breaks to admire the beautiful scenery and I then started looking forward to the challenge that was ahead of us. It gradually became easier as the day went on and after a night’s stay on Route 66, we were transferred to the Grand Canyon.

Date: Friday 14 December. Doors will open at 7.00pm, show starts at 7.30pm. Venue: The Auditorium, BT Centre, 81 Newgate Street, London, EC1A 7AJ, opposite St Paul's underground station on the Central Line.

Supported by BT who have donated use of the Auditorium.
