"St. Thomas' Lupus Trust Annual Christmas Concerts"

Our Christmas Concert is held on the first Thursday in December at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster Abbey.  A host of very talented people entertained us over the years.  The celebrity readers have included: actors Chris Simmons (DC Mickey Webb, the Bill) Alex Walkinshaw (Sgt Dale Smith, the Bill), Melanie Hill (Bread, the Bill, Emmerdale) and Kate Adie. By popular request here is a copy of Charles Dance's reading from December 2009 concert: The Lord said unto Noah and the poem that actor Graham Cole specially wrote for us and read at the same event: Graham's poem.

The audience have always been very appreciative with comments such as "the best concert I have ever been to" and "I was depressed when I arrived but I certainly wasn't when I left!". Our thanks to everyone, past and present, that help make it such a special event.

The butterfly is the international symbol of Lupus due to the butterfly shaped rash many lupus patients have.
