The Sixth Rotary Charity Variety Show
We received a lovely cheque for £532.50 raised at the recent Sixth Rotary Charity Variety Show devised and co-ordinated by Kath Bishop. Local Rotarians from Wadhurst help Kath produce the shows.
Lesley Phillips, who is a lupus patient, arranged a raffle at the suggestion of her friend Kath. The raffle prizes included lots of goodies such as champagne and Belgian chocolates. The amazing total was raised in just 3 nights at the show!!
43 cast members were involved in the production as well as 4 different accompanists and about 30 members of the Wadhurst Brass Band who played several rousing numbers during the performance.
