Angie Davidson interviews Patron - Kelle Bryan

Kelle spent the 90's travelling around the globe as a founder member of the phenomenally successful British girl group Eternal, notching up sales of 6 million albums along the way and no less than 13 top 15 hit singles; although, she prefers football & cars to touring the celebrity circuit.

Kelle was only 15 years old when she joined Eternal on the recommendation of her school friend and fellow member Louise, a member of her family's church choir in Forrest Gate, East London. As a toddler Kelle's ability at local dance classes would eventually help her to secure a contract at the prestigious Italia Conti Stage School - and she is now a fully qualified dance teacher.

Since the Eternal days, heavyweights from the music world have lined up to work with Kelle, many of whom were old acquaintances from the Eternal days. These include Eric Clapton's producer Simon Climie, Michael Jackson's producer Harvey Mason Jnr, gospel giant Be Be Winans and Rhett Lawrence songwriter for the likes of Mariah Carey and Enrique Inglesias amongst others.

After leaving Eternal in 1999, Kelle began to present a TV chart show, has launched her own R'n'B label and is turning to acting.

TELEVISION
Kelle has presented BBC's Electric Circus as part of Live & Kicking on Saturday morning. She co-hosted The Peoples Choice Awards 2001 with Ortis (Channel 5) and hosted 3 series of Nickelodeon's chart show, N-List. Runner up on 'Love Island'.

KICKBOXING
Following an incident in Brixton five years ago where Kelle was harassed by a group of men her partner suggested that she should take up some form of self-defence. Kickboxing was Kelle's choice and five years on she hasn't looked back - becoming a champion in the field.

RED HOT ENTERTAINMENT
Kelle set up Red Hot 5 years ago with 4 partners and the company is going strong with a diverse range of artists signed to the label. The Oracle Boy - Kelle's indie band are currently touring the circuit and one of her female vocalists has been signed in the USA.

Kelle also acts as an A&R consultant for several major record companies as well as song writing for artists such as Blue and Liberty X.

LUPUS CONNECTION
Kelle is a lupus patient here at the Louise Coote Lupus Unit.
